Viewing Reports
To open a report, click on one of the blue links below. This will open a PDF document in a new tab or window, depending on your browser settings. All publications are in PDF format. In order to read a PDF file, you need a PDF reader. If you do not have a PDF reader, click here to install Adobe Reader, a free program. (When you download and install Adobe Reader, you may want to uncheck McAfee Security Scan Plus and True Key by Intel Security, unless you think you may need them for other purposes.)
2017 Report

Because there are more pages in the 2017 Report using 12 point font than the 2016 Report using 9 point font, the indexes are different. The 2017 index is derived from the original index of 2016 report. However, the index page references in the 2017 report are approximations. If you do not find what you are looking for on the page indicated by the 2017 index, look on following page. For example, the 2017 report index indicates John Allen will be on page 109, he is actually on the next page (110). If necessary, compare an event by same date in 2016 Report (9 point font).
* The 2017 Report (12 point font) has been updated from the 2016 Report. The timelines include new research materials and reinterpretations based on additional information. In addition, several paragraphs have been moved in the 2017 Report document, placing the entries in chronological order.
